Calor Gas Switches to Sustainable Fuel

Calor Gas, an SHV Energy company, is transitioning all post-2017 vehicles to Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), a renewable diesel that cuts up to 90% of net CO₂ emissions compared to conventional diesel. This shift aligns with Calor Gas’s commitment to reducing carbon footprint and promoting sustainable practices.

By adopting HVO, Scope 1 emissions are lowering, decreasing reliance on fossil fuels, and modernizing the fleet with cleaner, more efficient technology. The rollout will cover 12 sites in the coming months, with a full transition planned by Q1 next year.

This is a key step in our sustainability journey—driving a cleaner, greener future together
