Indirect Tax Manager

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Indirect Tax Manager to join the Nutreco Group Tax Team at our Corporate Head Office in Amersfoort. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for global indirect tax matters where your expertise and proactive approach will play a critical role in taking indirect tax management to the next level for Nutreco globally.

Success in this position requires your ability to build strong relationships and bridge the gap between government regulations and operational practices. You will be recognized as an indirect tax professional who not only provides insights but also implements effective solutions and optimizes the end-to-end indirect tax processes. Collaboration with the tax, global finance, IT, and other business departments will be crucial to be successful in managing indirect tax obligations globally.

About The Role: Responsible for Global Indirect Tax at Nutreco

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and implement Global Indirect Tax requirements in relevant end to end processes, including systems such as ERP.

  • Identify opportunities for streamlining and improving global indirect tax processes and drive the initiation and implementation thereof.

  • Support the business with the implementation of e-invoicing and e-reporting obligations in various jurisdictions.

  • Provide ad hoc guidance and support on global indirect Tax matters to internal stakeholders globally.

  • Support local OpCo’s with Indirect Tax related audits globally.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in (Indirect) Taxation and / or Business Economics.

  • At least 8 years of experience in national and international indirect tax environments.

  • A strong understanding of global indirect tax regulations and reporting requirements.

  • Experience with process automation and indirect tax technology.

  • Fluency in Dutch and English.

  • Some travel will be part of the position
