Dimeta Announces Large-Scale Renewable Energy Project
Dimeta – an SHV Energy joint venture – signs partnership agreement with Enerkem, the very first company producing “renewable methanol and ethanol from non-recyclable, non-compostable municipal solid waste”. The companies plan to develop two major projects focused on the conversion of waste into DME – a clean-burning fuel with countless applications in various different fields.
Located in Northwest Europe and the Gulf Coast of the United States, the project intends to reduce significantly the carbon footprint of more than one million houses currently using LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas).
