Less emissions with LPG

SHV Energy is the world’s leading distributor of LPG, one of the cleanest fuels available in terms of CO 2 emissions. In the automotive context, LPG emits significantly less CO 2 than petrol. Given the increasingly tighter targets set for vehicle emissions, the use of LPG will not only contribute to a cleaner environment but will also help to sustain the profitability of the European automotive industry. On average, in domestic and industrial use, LPG generates 15% less CO 2 per kilowatt hour than oil, 50% less than coal and substantially less than the average European electricity distributed via the grid. This clearly suggests that the widespread adoption of LPG can make a major impact on reducing emissions of CO 2.
